We are proud of our rural location and the history of the past 31 years that have led to its fruition. It all started in the spring of 1992. Zach's parents bought a house with 7.5 mostly barren acres that Zach and his dad planted with 1000 seedlings that first spring. Even way back then, at the age of 10, Zach was painting with plants as he envisioned how they would grow and mature. Believe it or not, Zach has nurtured and maintained the property ever since . as the once blank canvas has become the gorgeous proving grounds of the Rootnote Landscape Solutions experience!

After 2 decades of study in the field of nature, and a certificate from the MSU horticulture program, Zach opened Rootnote Landscape Solutions in 2013, and 11 years later, the Nursery has grown into a gem that needs to be shared and experienced as a gateway back to nature.
